Epson America unveiled a new high definition front projector

that produces stunning image quality, is easy to use and install, and is aggressively priced to appeal to today's growing number of do-it-yourself home theater builders and high-end video gamers. Priced at $1,599 (estimated street price), the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 400 features HD native resolution (720p) in widescreen 16:9 format, uses the latest Epson Cinema Filter and Dynamic Eye Iris to achieve a contrast ratio up to 5000:1, and produces one of the highest brightness levels (up to 1,500 ANSI lumens) in its class. The Epson PowerLite Home Cinema 400 will be available mid-September in retail stores nationwide.
